Xanthus Farm is a full-service facility for Thoroughbred horses -- offering stud service, breeding, boarding, foaling and raising, sales preparation, trailering and transportation, layups, and agent services. About 70 foals are born at the farm each year. In addition, during the breeding season, we transport local mares to and from Kentucky.

Xanthus Farm is one of Pennsylvania's leading commercial Thoroughbred stallion establishments. Six stallions, all representing popular bloodlines, currently stand at the farm. Our stallion roster includes

• Buckle Down Ben, a graded stakes winner of $367,743. His first crop yearlings are of 2008.
• Changeintheweather who won or placed in seven stakes earning nearly $450,000. He is the Mid-Atlantic's leading freshman sire of 2007 with two stakes horses and 11 2-year-old winners in his first crop.
• Digamist by Blushing Groom (Fr) , a G1 winner at 2. He has sired 20 stakes horses competing around the world.
• Duckhorn, the classy and hard-hitting multiple graded stakes winner of $747,812 and the leading earner for top Mid-Atlantic sire Not For Love. His first crop of 2-year-olds includes a stakes horse.
• Quarry, a MR. PROSPECTOR-line sire from immediate family of champions and leading sires. He has sired 22 winners.
• Southern Success, new for 2008. Stakes winner at two.

In addition to breeding services, we offer an outstanding selection of Thoroughbred weanling fillies, weanling colts, yearling fillies, yearling colts, two-year-olds, racing age, broodmares, stallions and sport horses for sale.
